Players showcased themselves this year March 24th in Saskatoon and April 7th in Moose Jaw infront of CIS and CJFL Scouts as well as the evaluating eyes of Senior Bowl Coaches, Team Sask Coaches, and numerous other Football Stakeholders in the province. North Sr. Bowl TryoutPlease Note The Following Change to the North Senior Bowl Tryouts due to Snow Still Covering the Field. We haven’t been able to say good-bye to winter yet and as a result the field at Griffiths stadium is still covered with snow. We are postponing the Sr Bowl Tryouts to April 27/28th weekend at Griffiths Stadium. We still need everyone to have a medical form completed and payment sent in or brought to the camp. You will not be allowed onto the field without the completed medical form or payment. There is still time for more players to sign up for the tryouts. The schedule will be as follows. Saturday 11:00 am – Registration 12:00 pm – Practice #1 4:00 pm Practice #2 Sunday 10:00 am – Practice #3 2:00 pm – Practice #4 Heenan and Hicks Invited to Shrine GameBen Heenan (U of S Huskies) and Akiem Hicks (U of R Rams) both were selected to the East-West Shrine Game. Football Saskatchewan ID CampsEvery spring Football Saskatchewan conducts nine regional skill identification camps that are intended for athlete’s currently in grades, nine, ten and eleven and occur throughout the province regionally. This year’s camps are being held in Melfort, Foam Lake, Outlook, Prince Albert, Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current, Unity and Moose Jaw. During these camps, Football Saskatchewan serves a dual purpose of introducing, teaching, and enhancing fundamental football skills while identifying the athletic ability and skills of the participants.
